Our Volunteer Befriending Service
We provide company and support for adults who live on their own, or those who are house bound and in need of a friendly chat on a regular basis.
If you know of someone in these categories who would benefit from a befriender, we will endeavour to match them with a volunteer who can spare some time, accompany them on local shopping trips or outings suited to their capabilities.
Our volunteers are the backbone of this service, and we always try to match the right person with the needs of the other. We are always looking for new people to help and also new volunteers to join us.
Our Volunteers come from all walks of life. They have a wide range of ages, interests and skills. Their role is a supporting one.
What To Expect?

Really it's all about the person that needs the company, that may be you, or you may be the one able to free up a bit of time and make a new friend.
If could be a simple visit to a cafe, a bike ride, a quick visit once a week or a trip to do the shopping. We live in a very busy world, where it seems there is no time for anything. We know that time is short, and dedicating your time to help can be difficult.
There are many people that could do with a bit of support, a little bit of your time. Are you able to offer some support in this way and become a volunteer?

If you live in any of the undernoted areas, we are happy to discuss our services with you. We cover as much of North East Fife as we can, but it all depends on our volunteers.
