Our volunteers provide a transport service, there and back again, for hospital visits or other appointments. We also offer befriending service with volunteers that give a bit of company to those with the most need.
We specialise in providing non-emergency transportation for all medical and associated appointments for residents, in our service area, who do not have ready access to personal or public transport. We also provide company and support for adults who live on their own, or those who are house bound and in need of a friendly chat on a regular basis.
All our volunteers are assessed for suitability and have undergone Disclosure Checks as required for the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme in Scotland.
